His voice is not by the same guy who did the movies but at least Ovk hire a guy who works from a game that did the voice of scarface before. The suit looks like from the movies, just not his face though."Little friend" this gun is basically a bad version of the M308 but with a grenade launcher. If you know how to use the M308 or and other DMRs, this gun is for you. The pickup rate is about 1-3 per box (with is sad), but the grenade launcher is 1-1. So most of the time you will be using the grenade launcher than the gun itself.There are no new mods to apply on, and if you are expecting to react a scene from a movie and spray and pray, you will be disappointed. Total ammo by the way is only 40. Chainsaw- feels good, but in all honesty, it is just a another generic melee that no one used.Perk- not bad concept. People has turn this deck into a free FAK deck by exploding themselves for health. High risk award on OD, but pretty average on DW or below.Verdict 7\/10Although the looks and voice is not Al Pacino himself, the gun is great for anyone who loves DMRS and the perk is pretty good for any armor builds.Buy it on sale though.. 4 things to review in each character pack. Gun, melee, perk deck, and the character. First off, melee: It has cloned stats from the katana if I remember correctly. I'll be sticking with the katana for now, because the chainsaw feels a tiny bit slower, but I can't really tell for sure. Still fun to use if you're like me and use what's fun rather than what's practical every now and then.Character: The model is pretty good, and they tweaked the suit to look like something Tony would wear. You can tell the face is supposed to be Al as Tony, but they probably couldn't get the rights to exactly copy his likeness, which is understandable. The voice actor does a kickass job, and a few lines from the movie were used in the game, a few of which you can hear in the safehouse. Perk Deck: While the concept is great, I unfortunately haven't gotten the hang of using it. What I can say though, is that unlike other perk decks, this one activates whenever the player chooses. There is probably an in depth guide\/explanation of the perk deck somewhere on steam, so if you're thinking to buy specifically for the deck, search the forums. paydaytheheist reddit might have something like that too.Gun: This is probably my favorite part of the DLC. It's rare that my number one favorite part of a character pack is the gun. I use Jacket's Piece on almost every heist, but Jacket is still the main reason I love that pack. The Little Friend is amazingly fun and very satisfying to use. It the launcher on the bottom of the barrel blows away shields and other non-dozer enemies nicely. The rifle has a really low ammo pool, (2 mags at full ammo, plus 3 grenades.) but deals pretty good damage if you use it well. I mostly use it on semi auto to save ammo, but doing that won't lower your kill count.. U JUAN TO PAY ROUFOKEGHSAH HAEELO TUE MAI LETTLE FREH!. Crossovers and promotions are not exactly uncommon in Payday 2\u2122, so it's natural to expect a movie-related DLC when the themes work decently together. This one, though...it wasn't hyped up or really related to anything coming out soon, and it feels like a blatant cash grab, yet it isn't bad. I guess the only way to explain its oddness would be to break down what's in the pack.THE CHARACTER: The lore of Payday 2\u2122 meshes with the classic gangster movie Scarface\u2122 with the addition of this new character! Equipped with his Little Friend\u2122 DMR+GL and Lumber Lite L2 Chainsaw\u2122, this Cuban heister is a worthy addition to the Payday Gang\u2122. That's right, you can play as the legendary Tony Montana\u2122 in this...Hold on, just got a call from some Swedish number. Probably a wrong number, but I'll take it....Okay, I've just been informed that this character is not Tony Montana\u2122, the protagonist of the hit movie Scarface\u2122. He is, in fact, called Scarface\u2122, and he is an original heister who models himself after the movie itself. Also, his name is Tony, but the real Tony Montana\u2122 is dead in canon. In the pack's defense, that is a clever way to allow a Tony Montana\u2122-like character in the game without him being 80 years old or so. Anyway, he says "EY" a lot and talks big about his\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 so his energetic and boisterous personality doesn't feel out of place with the others. Plus, he has a pinstripe suit. Who hasn't wanted that in the game?THE WEAPONS: A fun primary and a useless melee. The Little Friend 7.62\u2122 is a unique weapon that allows you to swap between a high-powered DMR and an underbarrel grenade launcher, circumventing the need to carry them as separate weapons. The weapon has a bad ammo pickup rate and low default ammo, but that can be mitigated with the right skills. Even then, you can last for a while if you don't overuse one part of the Little Friend 7.62\u2122 over the other.The Lumber Lite L2 Chainsaw\u2122. A roaring, frothing madness of a chainsaw.\u2122 No one wants to get close when you're swinging this chainsaw.\u2122 Nobody wants to admit that this chainsaw deals the same damage as the weapon butt melee, only with a slower swing speed.\u2122 Nobody wants this chainsaw.\u2122 Don't bother with this melee, as the Kunai, Taser, Weapon Butt, and Electric Brass Knuckles are much better.\u2122THE PERK DECK: The Kingpin\u2122 perk deck is a surprisingly-viable option for all difficulties. Instead of tossing grenades, you press the throw button to instantly get 6 seconds of near-invincibility, soaking up lethal damage and healing yourself by dishing it out. It makes for a great Bulldozer-killing rush or a charge through a cluster of enemies. It's the perfect drug-fueled solution when you gotta get a grip on a chaotic shootout. My only complaint is that it does not work well with dodge builds. Armor builds are best-suited for this perk deck. THE MASKS: Meh.\u2122THE VERDICT: Overkill may be done with their expensive drills and safes, but they still aren't above nickel and diming us for new content. I would be lying if I said this was a bad pack, though. The Kingpin\u2122 perk deck and Little Friend 7.62\u2122 are worth the price of admission, and the titular character is pretty fun to play as. If you run a dodge build, you won't find much use from this pack, but armor builds will enjoy the additions of this pack. Buy this on sale.\u2122 It might be a stretch to pay 5 dollars for it, but it is fun and provides some new playstyle options for heisters.. Kingpin and Injector - Great up to Death Wish, helps rushing agains a horde of cops. It was designed to be used with armor, obviously damaging armor while injected heals you, so the more armor and skills like Bullseye you have equipped to keep armor always up, the more healing you can get from it. For the dodge players it's not much effective: dodged damage doesn't count as damage taken = doesn't heal you, using it with suit is a suicide. Also having stacked buffs of Reduced Damage Taken Forced Friendship Aced, Underdog Aced, Die Hard basic and etc. reduces healing as well, so keep that in mind. On One Down Difficulty it's quite complicated to inject yourself in the right moment since enemies shoots very random with fancy aimbot, plus the damage they inflict tears even ICTV armor in two seconds, which means you can't keep armor all the time unless you are really good and patience player running between cover. Also while injected, you can damage yourself in order to heal by shooting HE rounds or grenades on yourself. Overall it is great perk, +80% HP +30% HP more if Partners in Crime Aced and having converted enemy, 518 total value, +aggro, i would say it's more like Muscle 2.0 with your very own choice when you want to heal yourself.Scarface character - charming, fearless and damn ruthless.Little Friend 7.62 - It's like M308 with GL40 included, press 4 (LMG Bipod) to switch between them. Rifle can be changed to single shot or auto fire. Only comes in handy with specific skills equipped, most people on high difficulties using it with Body Expertise skill and Auto-Fire mod. Not suitable for crits, maximum concealment you can get with this in suit and ghost skills is around 46. GL + Swan Song = easy room wipe, it shoots with the speed of Piglet GL. Cons are low max ammo and ammo pickup, reloading takes some time to reload both rifle and GL, and the GL rounds can't be modified to incendinary.Melee - For fans of Alex and Ash, but the damage is too damn low.. *Answers the pager*Cop: What are you doing?Scarface: scratching my balls, but you dont understand that because you dont have any balls!11\/10 would scratch balls again. Edit: 24\/12\/2016: Changed up the Little Friend Assault Rife and Kingpin perk deck.Before I start this review, it's kind obvious Al Pacino wasn't going to VA the Scarface in this pack. The man is 76 years old. He was in his early 40's when he portrayed Tony Montana in Scarface.tl;dr Get on sale rather than full price.This pack includes: Scarface the heister. The Little Friend 7.62 rifle. The Kingpin perkdeck The Lumber Lite P2 Chainsaw Melee. Two masks.Scarface:It's no Al Pacino, but Andr\u00e9 Sogliuzzo does a fine job of voicing Scarface, with some of the funniest Pager Responce lines I've heard from any heister. He's also one of my favourite looking heisters with his Pinestripe suit and black gloves. I really enjoy Scarface and will be using him a lot.The Little Friend 7.62Always available from the start which is a absolute yes. This gun has a built in grenade launcher that is a gl40 under mount. But it's ammo pick up is amazingly good. The assault rifle itself is an M308 with a bigger clip pretty much and lower pick up and total ammo. It's changes up the game with being able to bring 3 weapons pretty much. Edited section! Recently tried this with a build around for semi-automatics. The result was pretty much a carpet bomb of death. I've been using the build for around a week~ and I really enjoy using it most with the rifle.The Kingpin Perk DeckDue to the changes OVERKILL have made to this perk deck, redoing this entire section.This perk deck in short is Muscle 2.0. You get 414 health instead of increased armor. The only big difference with Muscle and Kingpin is how the health regen works. Which personally I prefer this change over having a lot of armor. Since Kingpin is more aimed towards to those staying in the fight and always active having 414 health makes you stay in the fight much longer. A fun perkdeck which is a direct upgrade to Muscle.Lumber Lite L2:I only use 1 melee in the whole game so this doesn't interst me that much. But this is a gorgeous looking melee, although melee is heavily overlooked sadly. It's a lovely looking melee but I don't use melee builds at all. This is kinda ironic to be added because if you've seen Scarface you'll know the reference.2 new masksI quite like the look of Scarface's default mask. But we already have a lot of masks in PAYDAY 2 anyway. ConclusionI'd recommend this pack IF you can get over the damn fact Pacino isn't the voice actor for Scarface and you can give him a chance. The assault rifle is top notch for new people and people going infamous. The perk deck is a lot of fun and provides a support role for your team. The melee is nice looking as well as the masks do. Although I would recommend this on sale more than full price.. THEY DON'T MAKE EM' LIKE TONY ANYMORE.. Overview: Let me just start by saying that this pack should be avoided until either, A. it\u2019s on sale, or B. the content of the DLC is reworked. This DLC pack feels like it\u2019s been rushed and pushed to meet a deadline before the end of the year, and it honestly should\u2019ve been put on hold. The Pack: \tThe character itself is \u201cScarface,\u201d or that\u2019s what the character is supposed to be seen as, although the actual Tony Montana from the movie would be about 76 years old as of right now, but I wouldn\u2019t know because Overkill never gave him a nationality or age description in his character bio as I am currently writing this (now updated).\tHis firearm is the \u201cLittle Friend\u201d assault rifle, which is obsolete due to its grenade launcher gimmick (to make it more movie accurate because Scarface had an M203 grenade launcher on his rifle). What makes this weapon atrocious is the lacking ammo pool (20\/40) and\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665poor customization options. There are currently NO NEW OR EXCLUSIVE MODIFICATIONS for this weapon. No long barrel, no compensator, nothing. They don\u2019t even include any weapon stocks, magazines, or grips, making modifications very limited. As for the M203 grenade launcher, it can carry 3 grenades with is fine, but has limited range. The gun is rigid and should only be used on lower difficulty, or not at all.\tAside from that, there\u2019s the two masks that you get with the character packs, colored and uncolored. A new melee weapon, the chainsaw, is added but due to the surplus of melee weapons we already have that are much more viable to use, it just feels unneeded. The Kingpin perk deck seems decent for those running an armor build because it primarily focuses on keeping you in the fight longer. Conclusion: \tOverall, this DLC does not break any new ground. If you really look at it, there are signs of it being rushed and pushed way too quickly. The crossovers need to stop because adding in a character from a 30 year old movie or promoting a spin-off of said movie doesn\u2019t fit the narrative or make any sense. The perk deck may be useful to some, but the assault rifle and melee weapon is outmatched by almost every other assault rifle\/melee weapon in the game. I\u2019m gonna say you should get this DLC when it\u2019s 75% off.TL;DR: Scarface is unnecessary, assault rifle and melee weapon are obsolete, perk deck may work pending on playstyle. Solutions To Fix This Pack (Optional to Read): 1. Add an age and nationality description to the bio to keep it consistent. 2. Make the M203 grenade launcher optional to add. \u201cBut it ruins the gimmick!\u201d So? Removing it should be an option regardless for those who don\u2019t want it.3. By removing it, increase the total ammo to 120-150, instead of 40.4. Increase ammo if it is still attached, at least make it 20\/80 or even 20\/100 for more viability.5. Include some exclusive modifications for this weapon, and include magazine, stock, and grip mods.. My Favorite character DLC>Little Friend Rifle = m308 with grenade laucher which is very powerful>Tony Montana>Chainsaw
